1. THE BRIEF

Perception Live was asked to produce full event service production at the Rosewood London Hotel for our client, Navigate for the Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) London Forum. The forum focused on securities, derivatives, and commodities and was titled Asian Multi-Asset Opportunities and Challenges – The Way Forward. The forum was opened by SGX Chief Executive Loh Boon Chye and the Singapore High Commissioner to the UK Foo Chi Hsia.

SGX is an investment holding company located in Singapore. They provide different services related to securities and derivatives trading and others. SGX is a member of the World Federation of Exchanges, and the Asian and Oceanian Stock Exchanges Federation.

2. THE PREFACE

The brief was fully detailed and gave us the whole concept and feel for the London Forum. Perception completed an initial quote and then through communications refined the quote prior to our first site visit. We then met onsite and discussed the options for the Plenary Room and the breakout sessions. Even though numbers would be different for each session, each room would have the same look and feel. We went through 15 versions of backdrops and 13 versions of quotation as each option was polished as the high profile speakers were added and sessions formatted.

 3. THE EVENT

For the installation, the team of eleven arrived on site at 5 am to load our 5 tonnes of equipment and start our install. Due to the large scale format branding, the scenery was paramount to timeline. Our graphics installers created to 25 m/sq backdrops and due to additional attendees we update our site plan and set a new scenery line for all attendees to see. The Audio, Data, Lighting Technicians for the sessions then started the install and were show ready in four hours.

Equipment included 17 Scenery Panels,  28m sq of Staging and Bespoke Carpet, 21 Pieces of Furniture, 20k Lumens of Projection with 0.36:1 Lens to allow maximum space for attendees, 12 Sennheiser Digital Handhelds, 13 Pieces of Branding, 22 Lighting Fixtures and 2km of Cabling. Plus a team of 4 professional technicians with years of experiences and stories and special dietary lunch requirements.

4. THE FEEDBACK

Tremendous feedback received from our client with an all-round thankyou including an offer of a cocktail. Our client, Navigate, their client and the hotel were all complimentary of our access, work ethic, and egress.
