Our client, The Thomas Miller Group, asked us to help with streaming and recording their AGM. The event was to be a hybrid event at their head office in London. The room was larger than the previous year.
The Thomas Miller Group is an international provider of market-leading insurance services. Many of the businesses they own are leaders in their chosen markets. Thomas Miller’s origins are in the provision of management services to mutual organisations.
Having worked with Jenny on previous occasions, we took the brief and produced a draft quote. We were familiar with the building having worked there before. 6 weeks before the event, we went on-site to view the new event space and the internal IT infrastructure.
As this was a hybrid event, we had shareholders viewing online alongside a live audience. This was the first time since the Covid pandemic that there had been in-person attendees.
Our preplanning day at Perception’s warehouse resulted in us being ready to install a day early.
The on-site team had 20+ years of experience. A professional technician operated each role.
Our Project Manager, Gabriel, coordinated with the client pre-event and on-site. He also Vmixed the live stream on the day. Our engineer, Jamie, was on audio including comms, IEMS, radio mics, and feeds. Danny facilitated PowerPoint and remote presence, while Richard controlled the live video broadcast. Gareth handled the coffees.
